Eagle lovers of all ages are invited to the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge to watch eagles fishing, riding the ice floes, soaring overhead or roosting in trees nearby during Eagle Days at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge. Visitors are welcome to view eagles through spotting scopes staffed by trained volunteers.
There will be a warming tent to visit that will include children's art activities and a St. Louis Audubon display. Families can also take photos next to the full-size eagle's nest, and take in a live eagle educational program, which will be repeated every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition, Lewis and Clark re-enactors will demonstrate what life was like as part of Lewis and Clark's 1804-06 expedition.
