Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the holiday weekend with a variety of experiences at the Missouri History Museum. Families are invited on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for youth activism workshops, meaningful conversations on race and social justice, storytelling, movement with Mama Lisa, and craft workshops. On Sunday evening all are invited to an all-levels yoga class set to live gospel music with The Collective STL.
The MLK Community Celebration at the Missouri History Museum is free and will be held:
Friday, January 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, January 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, January 14, from 2 to 6 p.m., and
Monday, January 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
Stop in and have some fun in the indoor pool at the Lodge of Des Peres with your little one at this drop-in swim time for kids up to age 6. No pre-registration is needed; Water Waddlers is open to residents and non-residents of Des Peres.
Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.
Kids can work on existing gym skills, learn new skills or just play around during Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym in Creve Coeur.
