Kids can get up close and explore big trucks and vehicles at this free Touch-a-Truck event at the North County Recreation Complex. Kids can climb aboard and explore these impressive vehicles that they usually see from afar.
Touch-a-Truck is free and will be held Friday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a sensory hour from 9 to 10 a.m. during which loud noises will be minimized. Registration is not needed.

Tiny Trekkers is a weekly nature-based program for preschoolers (ages 3-5) at the Nature Institute. Preschoolers explore the nearly 500 acres of preserves through hands-on experiences out in nature. Kids stomp through creeks, use nets to catch and observe insects, taste edible plants, and learn about the natural world.
