Explore the New Olympia Gymnastics Manchester & Ninja City – Missouri’s Largest Gymnastics Center

When a gymnastics center has positively impacted thousands of childhoods, it’s more than a gym. It’s a local landmark. Now, that landmark – Olympia Gymnastics Center – has become the largest of its kind in the state of Missouri.

The owner of Olympia Gymnastics – Ray Overmann – is justifiably proud of the contribution Olympia has made to St. Louis area communities over the last 43 years. Olympia started in a little gym in North County with just a few students and a mission to positively impact the health, confidence, and well-being of children through the lessons learned by participating in gymnastics.

Olympia Gymnastics, which is committed to creating happy, healthy, and confident children, has provided young athletes a welcoming place to boost their skills and self-confidence since 1979. Because of their incredible experiences at Olympia, yesterday’s students are enrolling their own children – and even their grandchildren – in classes at one of the company’s seven locations so they, too, can discover the joy of gymnastics.

To give these talented kids more room to move, Olympia just opened the largest children’s gymnastics facility in Missouri. The Olympia Gymnastics Manchester & Ninja City center boasts 35,000 square feet, three stories of fun, and new training equipment, such as six inground trampolines, two tumble track pits, and a variety of training and technique bars.

“With the expansion of our space, we’re also able to expand our level of instruction for kids of all ages and abilities, from preschoolers to teens,” said Patricia Dubos, senior business manager for Olympia. “There’s plenty of room for every child to get the coaching they need, whether they’re taking their first tumbling class or training for gymnastics competitions.”

In addition to high-quality gymnastics classes, Olympia Manchester specializes in cheerleading and ninja programs. The Olympia team also offers holiday and summer camps for students that combine athletics with art and science as well as hosts birthday parties, field trips, and homeschool gymnastics programs.

While the Manchester facility will provide more kids with an opportunity to learn from highly-experienced coaches, Olympia is determined not to let its growth affect the one-on-one care the training company is renowned for.

“Olympia trains more than 6,000 students a week, but our coaches build relationships with every child,” Dubos explained. “All classes we offer have only six to eight students, and our instructors make an effort to engage with each one of them every time they come in. We hire people who are kind and really love children – people who can look a child in the eye, say something to build up their confidence, and inspire them to do their best. When a student leaves at the end of the class, they leave knowing they were cared for and paid attention to.”

Olympia Gymnastics Manchester & Ninja City is located at 79 National Shopping Center Way in Manchester. Families interested in classes are invited to email the center at [email protected] or call 636-227-7460.

Families from across the St. Louis metro area are invited to attend Olympia's Grand Opening Celebration at the new Manchester Gymnastics Center on Sunday, Oct. 16 from noon to 4 p.m.! There will be free, unlimited open gym for all kids, face painting, balloon animals, popcorn and prizes! Plus, see inside the new facility and learn new skills!
